Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using YoStays as a guest, host, or visitor.

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Using YoStays

YoStays provides a marketplace where guests can discover and book stays, and hosts can list properties and related services. By using YoStays, you agree to follow these Terms and any additional policies shown during booking, listing, payment, or account setup.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use YoStays.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your login credentials secure. You are also responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.

We may require identity, contact, payout, or payment verification before enabling certain guest or host features.

Bookings

When a guest books a stay, the guest agrees to pay the listed price, taxes, fees, deposits, and any other disclosed charges. A booking is subject to the listing details, cancellation policy, house rules, and any checkout terms shown before confirmation.

Hosts are responsible for making listings accurate, available, safe, lawful, and consistent with the descriptions, photos, amenities, prices, and rules they publish.

Host responsibilities

Hosts must have the rights, permissions, licenses, registrations, insurance, and approvals required to list and provide a stay. Hosts are responsible for complying with local laws, tax obligations, building rules, safety requirements, and community standards.

YoStays may remove or limit listings that appear inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, misleading, duplicate, discriminatory, or harmful to the marketplace.

Guest responsibilities

Guests must follow house rules, respect the property and neighbors, provide accurate guest counts, and leave the space in a reasonable condition. Guests are responsible for damage, unauthorized guests, late checkout, prohibited activity, or rule violations where permitted by law and policy.

Guests should report urgent safety issues to local authorities first, then notify YoStays support when safe to do so.

Payments, payouts, and taxes

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. YoStays may collect amounts from guests and remit host payouts after deducting applicable fees, refunds, adjustments, taxes, penalties, or amounts owed under these Terms.

Hosts and guests are responsible for taxes that apply to their use of YoStays unless YoStays is legally required to collect or remit them.

Cancellations, refunds, and disputes

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the booking terms, host policy, YoStays protection policies, applicable law, and the facts of the issue.

YoStays may help resolve disputes, but guests and hosts remain responsible for cooperating, providing accurate information, and acting in good faith.

Content and reviews

You may submit listings, photos, reviews, messages, profile information, and other content. You keep ownership of your content, but grant YoStays a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, use, reproduce, display, translate, and distribute it for operating, promoting, and improving YoStays.

Content must not be illegal, misleading, discriminatory, abusive, infringing, private without permission, or intended to manipulate search, reviews, pricing, or trust signals.

Prohibited activity

You may not misuse YoStays, bypass fees, scrape the service, interfere with security, create fake accounts, make fraudulent bookings, discriminate, harass users, list unlawful properties, or use YoStays to facilitate illegal activity.

We may suspend accounts, cancel bookings, remove content, withhold payouts, or take other reasonable action when we believe these Terms or marketplace policies have been violated.

Service availability

We work to keep YoStays reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features may change, pause, or end as the product evolves.

YoStays is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YoStays is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, property damage, or user conduct except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of YoStays after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
